QuoteZila is a UK local job marketplace. Customers post a job for free, and matched local businesses send them quotes. It is launching first in Cheshire, starting with tradespeople and small service businesses such as plumbers, electricians, cleaners and gardeners. The platform is not live yet.
How does QuoteZila work for businesses?
Create a free business profile with your trade, base postcode and how far you travel. When a customer nearby posts a job that fits, QuoteZila matches it to a small number of local businesses. You can send an itemised quote, ask a question or pass. If the customer chooses you, you do the job.

How much does QuoteZila cost for tradespeople?
The first 500 Founding businesses get 2 months free, with no card needed. After that, the planned price is £15 a month. It starts later and only once you have accepted the terms, which we will confirm before your trial ends. Signing up now costs nothing. This is our current plan, not a contract.

This is our plan and intention, not a contract. When your 2 months end, you'll need to accept payment terms to keep using your business login. We'll confirm the final terms, including price and VAT, before then, and we'll remind you ahead of time. You don't pay anything by signing up here.
Is there a lead fee?
Our intention is no lead fees: you would not pay per enquiry, per job or per quote. Founding membership is planned as one flat monthly price, £15 a month after your 2 free months. This is our current intention rather than a contract, and we will confirm the final terms before your trial ends.
Why does that matter? On many lead sites you pay whether or not you win the job. We want local businesses to spend time quoting, not buying enquiries.
Which areas and trades does QuoteZila cover?
We are launching first in Cheshire. Covered towns include Crewe (CW1), Nantwich, Sandbach, Congleton, Winsford and Middlewich. We are starting with trades such as plumbers, electricians, builders, decorators, plasterers, gardeners, cleaners, mechanics and handymen, plus other local service businesses. Choose “Other” on the form if yours is not listed.

Is QuoteZila live yet?
Not yet. QuoteZila is pre-launch and is signing up local businesses first, starting in Cheshire. Covered towns include Crewe (CW1), Nantwich, Sandbach, Congleton, Winsford and Middlewich. Customer job posting is coming soon, and it will be free for customers to use.
Does it cost anything to sign up now?
No. The form just registers your interest and no card is needed. Everything is free for your first 2 months, which start when your business is approved and live on the platform.
What happens after the 2 months?
The plan is currently £15 a month, but it starts later and nothing is taken automatically, as we do not collect a card to sign up. Before your trial ends we will email reminders and confirm the final terms, including VAT. To keep using your business login after the trial, you will need to accept those terms. Until you do, your login is paused.
Am I tied in?
That is not what we intend. We plan monthly, cancel-any-time membership. The final terms will be set out before launch.
Is a Founding place guaranteed?
Not yet. Founding places go to the first 500 businesses, and we will explain how that works when we launch. We may need to check your details first.
How do you check businesses?
We plan to check identity and business details, and trade registrations or insurance where relevant. Customers will see what was checked and when. These checks are not a guarantee of any business or its work.
Is QuoteZila free for customers?
Yes, that is the plan. Customers post a job for free and compare quotes from matched local businesses. Customer posting is not open yet.
What do you do with my details?
We will only use them to contact you about QuoteZila. Full privacy information will be published before launch. If you would like us to remove your details, email contact@quotezila.com.
